The first 9th International Martial Arts and Combat Sports Scientific Society (IMACSSS) Conference & 2nd Global Scientific Martial Arts and Cultural Congress (GSMACC) 2020 Organizing Official meeting was held on 16th August 2020 at Kinrara Resort, Puchong, Selangor, Malaysia.
The meeting was inline with IMACSSS & GSMACC 2020 program that will be held in Putrajaya, Malaysia from 10th to 12th October 2020.
Twenty five strong representative from Seni Gayung Fatani Association (PSGFM), Faculty of Sport Science & Recreation, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), IMACSSS and other agencies discussed in details all the issues regarding organizing successful international conference in Malaysia.
The committee chairman, Dr Mohamad Nizam Mohamed Shapie welcomed all the committee organizing members and delighted with the attendance of Assoc. Prof. Dr Mohad Anizu Md Noor, the dean of Faculty of Sport Science & Recreation, UiTM.
The 9th International Martial Arts and Combat Sports Scientific Society (IMACSSS) Conference & 2nd Global Scientific Martial Arts and Cultural Congress (GSMACC) 2020 will be the first edition in Malaysia.
Thus, with all the current pandemic issues around the world, the organizer looked details on security and high standard operation protocol (SOP) inline with new normal which will determine the successful of the program.
The meeting was held in two separate agenda, morning meeting regarding the setup of the events, while all the technicality of organizing the international events were discussed details in the afternoon meeting.
The theme of the joint conference is “The Future of Combat Sports & Martial Arts Through Cultural Diversity, Scientific Advancement & Professionalism in Governance”. Thus, the committee members agreed that all the current issues should be the priority in order to fulfill the objective of the conference which follows all the SOP of new normal.
The second official meeting will be held in the same venue on 5th September 2020.
