The fourth official meeting of 9th International Martial Arts and Combat Sports Scientific Society (IMACSSS) Conference & 2nd Global Scientific Martial Arts and Cultural Congress (GSMACC) 2020 was held on 27th September 2020 at Everly Hotel, Putrajaya, Malaysia.
Twenty strong representative from Pertubuhan Seni Gayung Fatani Malaysia (PSGFM), Persekutuan Silat Olahraga Nasional (PESONA) Malaysia, Faculty of Sports Science and Recreation, University Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and other agencies participated in the 8 hours mixed events of discussion and selection of final round qualified athletes that will participate the fight on 11 October 2020.
The morning session meeting started at 9 am and finish at 1 pm. The afternoon session was held from 2pm – 5pm. The former session discussed on the final lists of international speakers and the grandmaster participation on the martial arts workshop and program, while the latter session was on the World Silat Tempur qualification round which participated more than 30 silat athletes including from UAE, Bangladesh, Syria and Singapore. All the athletes needs to fill the declaration form that free form Covid19, 14 days before the event will be held in Everly Hotel, Putrajaya.
The committee also streamed online using the zoom application that involved selected international speakers from Poland, USA/Korea and Brazil. The system was tested to make the event successful on 10-12 October 2020.
The 9th International Martial Arts and Combat Sports Scientific Society (IMACSSS) Conference & 2nd Global Scientific Martial Arts and Cultural Congress (GSMACC) 2020 will be the first edition in Malaysia.
The theme of the joint conference is “The Future of Combat Sports & Martial Arts Through Cultural Diversity, Scientific Advancement & Professionalism in Governance”.
This will be one of the first kind of mixed event that will take place in Sports that involved locals and international community.
The fifth and final official meeting will be held in Kinrara Resort Hotel, Puchong on 4th October 2020.
