The second official meeting of 9th International Martial Arts and Combat Sports Scientific Society (IMACSSS) Conference & 2nd Global Scientific Martial Arts and Cultural Congress (GSMACC) 2020 was held on 6th September 2020 at Kinrara Resort, Puchong, Selangor, Malaysia.
Twenty strong representative from Pertubuhan Seni Gayung Fatani Malaysia (PSGFM), Persekutuan Silat Olahraga Nasional (PESONA) Malaysia, Faculty of Sports Science and Recreation, University Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and other agencies participated in the 8 hours long discussion on making the program successful.
The committee chairman, Dr Mohamad Nizam Mohamed Shapie welcomed all the committee organizing members and delighted with the attendance of Assoc. Prof. Dr Mohad Anizu Md Noor, the dean of Faculty of Sport Science & Recreation, UiTM.
The invited speaker was Assoc. Prof. Datin Dr Hajah Sarina Md Yusuf. She was invited to give her vast experience insight of organizing International Conference. She hoped the IMACSSS & GSMACC 2020 will be a successful event that will mark the beginning of success story in organizing mixed event (local and international participations).
The 9th International Martial Arts and Combat Sports Scientific Society (IMACSSS) Conference & 2nd Global Scientific Martial Arts and Cultural Congress (GSMACC) 2020 will be the first edition in Malaysia.
The theme of the joint conference is “The Future of Combat Sports & Martial Arts Through Cultural Diversity, Scientific Advancement & Professionalism in Governance”.
The committee members agreed that all the current issues should be the priority in order to fulfill the objective of the conference which follows all the SOP of new normal.
The meeting was held in two separate agenda, morning meeting regarding the progress of each department of committee tasks, while all the technicality of organizing the international events were discussed details in the afternoon meeting.
The committee agreed that the IMACSSS & GSMACC 2020 will be held in mixed event with the locals will participate the conference in the Everly Hotel, Putrajaya, whilst the international participants will present their research online.
This will be one of the first kind of mixed event that will take place in Sports that involved locals and international community.
The third official meeting will be held in Everly Hotel, Putrajaya on 20th September 2020.
