Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus. We are facing a difficult time during this pandemic of Covid-19, not only in Malaysia but all around the globe.

IMACSSS & GSMACC 2020 on Covid-19

To boost your confidence in this matter, the organizer 9th International Martial Arts and Combat Sports Scientific Society (IMACSSS) Conference & 2nd Global Scientific Martial Arts and Cultural Congress (GSMACC) 2020 have an agreement with our venue provider The Everly Hotel, Putrajaya, where as hand sanitizers will be available abundantly throughout the venue during the conference, wearing protective face mask, infrared thermometer will be available to our use to check on every individuals temperature regularly, and we are working on terms to provide details insight on implementing social distancing in the hotel during the conference and all aspects of security and prevention (i.e. posters, signage, surveys, health check, disinfectants and sterilization procedure and etc.) of covid-19 before, during and after the events.

World Health Organization on Covid-19

Based on the information provided by World Health Organization (WHO) on 6 April 2020 on preventive measures for COVID-19 disease, the most effective preventive measures include:
• maintaining physical distance (a minimum of 1 metre) from other individuals;
• performing hand hygiene frequently with an alcohol-based hand rub if available and if your hands are not visibly dirty or with soap and water if handsare dirty;
• avoiding touching your eyes, nose, and mouth;
• practicing respiratory hygiene by coughing or sneezing into a bent elbow or tissue and then immediately disposing of the tissue;
• wearing a medical mask if you have respiratory symptoms and performing hand hygiene after disposing of the mask;
• routine cleaning and disinfection of environmental and other frequently touched surfaces.

How to prevent the Covid-19

– Protect yourself and others around you by knowing the facts and taking appropriate precautions. Follow advice provided by your local public health agency.

– Clean your hands often. Use soap and water, or an alcohol-based hand rub.
Maintain a safe distance from anyone who is coughing or sneezing.

– Don’t touch your eyes, nose or mouth.

– Cover your nose and mouth with your bent elbow or a tissue when you cough or sneeze.

– Stay home if you feel unwell.

– If you have a fever, a cough, and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention. Call in advance.

– Follow the directions of your local health authority.

– Avoiding unneeded visits to medical facilities allows healthcare systems to operate more effectively, therefore protecting you and others.
