The first edition of Global Scientific Martial Arts and Cultural Congress (GSMACC) was held in Sandakan, Sabah from 17 – 19 August 2018. Formerly known as International Seni Gayung Fatani Congress and Silat Melayu Symposium, the program attracted participants from all around Malaysia.
On 17 October 2018 in Rzeszow Poland, nine Malaysia delegations led by GM Dr Mohamad Nizam Mohamed Shapie successfully presented and received full support from members of committee of International Martial Arts and Combat Sports Scientific Society (IMACSSS) to host the 9th edition of IMACSSS Conference in Malaysia. The Conference will be held in year of 2020 and will be known as IMACSSS2020.
